Palestine is a conventional name, among others, for the geographic region in Western Asia between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River, and various adjoining lands. Boundaries of the region were last defined in modern times by the Franco-British boundary agreement (1920) and the Transjordan memorandum of 16 September 1922. Today, the region comprises the State of Israel and the Palestinian territories. The region is bordered by Jordan to the East, Syria to the Northeast, Lebanon to the North, the Mediterranean Sea to the West and Egypt and the Red sea to the South. Baitulmaal in Palestine
Baitulmaal has been working in Palestine since our inception as an organization and is devoted to doing anything we can to help those suffering and in need. Through Baitulmaal partnerships and representatives, we are able to support the orphans and those most in need when natural and man-made disasters cripple the region. Baitulmaal on behalf of its generous donors, has successfully implemented food, clothing and supplies distribution, micro-finance businesses to help the Palestinian become self-sufficient.
Despite the efforts of several relief organizations helping the people of Palestine in Gaza, yet, there are hundreds more families in desperate needs food and clean water to feed their children. Baitulmaal is committed to continue reach out to the people of Palestine with the distribution of food and other humanitarian aid on behalf of the generous donors.
