We take action, and send aid to save lives, alleviate suffering, and maintain and protect human dignity during and in the aftermath of crises, and natural disasters.
Baitulmaal’s Core Program is to aid those in need in a timely manner, regardless of race, color, religion, creed, sex, national origin, or age. When disaster strikes, time is a precious commodity and implementing an effective disaster response is critical. Baitulmaal AHED continues to be among the first responders to meet the needs of a sudden crisis or disaster.
Founded in 2004 to help families suffering in the aftermath of crises, Baitulmaal provides affected and displaced families with emergency disaster relief whenever emergencies strike. From civil conflicts to earthquakes, over the years, Baitulmaal’s presence has been prominent providing humanitarian relief to people who have been affected in over 20 countries.
After a disaster strikes, our Disaster Response Teams deploy to the affected areas, and works to distribute aid in the form of food supplies, water, hygiene kits, clothing, mattresses, shelter, and medical supplies. At Baitulmaal, we are committed to doing whatever we can do to support people in their time of need.
“War, natural disasters, and diseases capture news headlines short-term, Baitulmaal, on the other hand, works hard for the relief and recovery of victims long-term.” Suleiman Alghanem, Executive Director
