Most of the refugees are residing with host families in “difficult circumstances” and others are housed in rehabilitated abandoned schools.
On behalf of generous donors, Baitulmaal has launching a campaign and provided humanitarian aid and assist the Syrian refugees. Baitulmaal's represntatives with active local volunteers have distributed 2 weeks food supplies and other needed items among 250+ displaced Syrian family refugees in Lebanon, more families have been located and more supplies including food and clothes are being distributed among the refugees.
NGOs on the ground are reporting a widespread humanitarian crisis as a result of the suspension of projects and the diminishing relief aid no longer being distributed in the region. Baitulmaal remains as a partner in the region working to help mitigate the effects of this crippling disaster.
