With nowhere to run, the people of Gaza are, yet again, are caught in the middle of a violent war. The humanitarian situation in Gaza has been escalating over the last several days as more and more innocent people are being injured in the attacks. Baitulmaal's team is on the ground has already sprung into action to assess the needs and coordinate immediate relief efforts.

Gaza is in great need of basic medical supplies. As the wounded are flooding to hospitals and makeshift clinics by the hour, the supplies in hand are not keeping up with demand. Trauma care supplies and follow-up treatment supplies are in high demand. The shortage in supplies has been a reality for the last 3-4 years, but now with the new wave of attacks the hospitals and clinics are unable to respond to the needs of the people.
